My mom really wants me to volunteer somewhere, because I need to go out and "be active".
My older brother is already doing that.
I also have to think of what job I want to have. What career I want.
I am too shy and too quiet (but not at home) and I want to find a volunteering job that is fun and not too hard.
I don't have much talents. I am pretty good at keyboarding, but that's it. I'm writing a book but my writing skills can't improve much with that. I love reading but that won't help either.
Any ideas?
I am bad at everything. I would love to be a teacher, but I have to talk well.

Volunteer to hand out stickers, or other stuff, at the mall for the holidays.
Find smooth, thin stones, small enough to fit between finger and thumb. Paint Chinese words on them and give them away.
Volunteer to read to children at the mall/bookstore.

You could volunteer or work as a receptionist at an organization. This way... you can both improve your communication, organization and so on skills.
You could volunteer for your public library during the summer or even during school year to read to kids...
You could work at a library and most you'll be doing is shelving books.. but hey.. you're getting paid!
Tutoring is another option... you want to become a teacher, so why not start early! Go tutor elementary kids!
There's a lot you can do... you can probably ask your school's guidance counsellor to see what kind of volunteer opportunities are available

well I don't know if I will be good as a teacher. I might look into volunteering in my library.

You can become a GREAT teacher if you have motivation and determination. YOU CAN DO ANYTHING that you want to do! Just don't give up and turn that pessimistic attitude to positive! Communication skills can be improved. Remember... the older you get... the more you will know... Good luck!
