I think it would be "Herramientas y materiales para "hacerlo tú mismo""

Is this correct? Also, if it third person, then is 'tú' correct or is it too informal?

Would the formal version be"Herramientas y materiales para "hacerlo su mismo""?

Also is "hacerlo tú mismo" the correct term for DIY?

While hazlo tú mismo or hágalo su mismo (infinitive form: hacerlo tú mismo or hacerlo sí mismo) is used, el bricolaje is much more common.

DIY Tools and Materials = Herramientas y materiales de bricolaje
DIY Project = Proyecto de bricolaje
DIY Work = Trabajo/Tarea de bricolaje

My husband likes doing DIY jobs. = A mi marido le gusta el bricolaje.
Suitable for the Do-It-Yourselfer = Adecuado para quien le gusta el bricolaje
