you mean toys like this one? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/93/Wizard_troll_doll-low_res.jpg
Troll dolls, originally known as Leprocauns and also known as Dam dolls, Gonks, Wishniks, Treasure Trolls, and Norfins, became one of America's biggest toy fads beginning in the autumn of 1963, and lasting throughout 1965. With their brightly colored hair and cute faces, they were featured in both Life Magazine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_Magazine) and Time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_%28magazine%29) magazine in articles which commented on the "good luck" they would bring to their owners. The troll doll is sometimes mistakenly referred to as a Kewpie doll (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kewpie_doll_%28toy%29).
I'n my opinion toys like this won't bring you good or bud luck. I don't even believe in luck, but only I believe in God

I know those trolls, but I don't expect anything of them. It's like the "magic bracelet" (with a different color for a different purpose", or the "lucky witches" (witch for love, witch for work,..), or the "runes", or tons of thing like these.
saludos :D

Siempre suyo,
Sosia

I know about diabetes.
Well, maybe the trolls that bring bad luck are the scary-looking ones. The ones that aren't scary probably won't bring bad luck (I don't believe in luck, though).

Ι'm sorry my Spanish aren´t enough to translate
But I ll be glad if u can say this to your wife
I had a friend who suffers because of Diabetes .It started when she was very small.... about 6 years old and now she is 27. She learned how to live with it and with the right medicines she never faced any problem. She went to study in another town and now she is a teacher in a Greek island.
that I whant to say is thas your wife had to learn to your kid that it happened, it won´t change. So make it easier... and he had a life like othern kids.
I don´t know if she beleived in God ...and in mircles.... (that´s a personal issue) I do believe and that safed my life ...keep faith
I wish the best for your kid... God bless you :)
