Hi,

This is a translation of the fancy term bitchmaster from Stephen King's Gerald's Game (El Juego de Gerald). Bitchmaster is a female human entity as seen by a dog. The English original sounds good, though a little bit mysterious. Just as it should be, I suppose.

What do you think about the Spanish translation? I can only see that the gender agreement is uncommon.

La ama is literally used to name a mistress in relation to her servants, slaves and domesticated animales.

But a human-like dog could consider her to be su patrona

I found the translation and "amo hembra" seems genderless enough, or gender-ambiguous to describe the point of view of a dog for which the gender of a human has no meaning at all. Yet, unbeknown to the dog, it preserves a connexion to the "slutty" situation the main character is in, though not so strong and degrading as bitchmaster. English works that way, Spanish doesn't.
