I have heard that qué tal can be used to make tons of expressions other than ¨how are you¨ and ¨how is/are something¨

Does anyone have any examples to offer to me?

¿Qué tal el viaje? = How was your trip?
¿Qué tal es María? = What's María like?
¿Qué tal manaña a las 8? = How about tomorrow at 8 o'clock?
¿Qué tal si vamos al cine? = Would you like to go to the movies?
¿Qué tal has dormido? = Did you sleep well?
¿Qué tal tiempo hace? = What's the weather like? (How's the weather?)
