I agree with Rusty. But if you want to use "condición/condicionar", you can substitute "condición" for "forma".
Necesito ponerme en condición para el trabajo.

Some of us would also say: "Necesito hacer/tener condición física para el trabajo"

Then word shape is condicion fisica.
For example. I wanna say. I wanna be in shape for this weekend.
