Are there people who uses that letter as a way to speak with other person in the cellular, I saw the text messages of other person who has sent me much messages with that kind to letter and really sometimes it's hard to understand.:confused:

People use SMS language in mobile phones because there is few space to write. But I don't like to find this language in forums, because you have enough space to write. Sometimes I don't understand it, either, although I use it when writing an SMS message. Do you know that even in exams some students use SMS language? :eek: Such language makes poor our own languages.

In some forums, SMS language is forbidden. You'll see a sentence like this:

Esto es un foro, no un p... móvil.

(perdón por la expresión, pero si lo buscas en un buscador, lo encontrarás :D )

Hasta existe un Comité Contra las Faltas Voluntarias y el Lenguaje SMS (CCFVLS).

I think they had a web page some time ago, but I think they haven't anymore :)
