¿Se usa 'k' en lugar de 'que' cuando escribiendo rapidamente?

Miraba muchas frases con 'k', las cual me han dado mucho desconcierto:thinking:

Miraba Veo muchas frases con 'k', las cual las cuales/las que/lo cual me ha/hann dado causado mucho desconcierto/me han desconcertado/me desconciertan. :thinking:

También, me parece que escritores españoles los que escriben en español/las personas que escriben en español no tienen el tiempo para escribir (watch out for this verb) las letras silenciosas mudas. :lol::lol:

*"Escritores" is only used for professional writers. And those obviously don't make spelling mistakes.

SMS language has created its own abbreviations in every tongue. In spanish many people started replacing "qu" with "k". The original shortened form of "que" was "ke", but lately people use only "k", even though it doesn't even have the same sound.

A little off topic, but it's funny becuase it reminded me of this. When my g/f asks me something, but I don't quite hear her or don't understand, I'll say "¿Que?", but it throws her off because that sounds like "'kay", as in short for "okay".

I've started using "Что" instead.

As you have said the word K is used when is cut the word Ok in some chat rooms, but it's is one informal style, sometimes in the chat room are places where you learn much idioms in severals languages, and well the English and Spanish is not the different.


Sometimes that idioms are one great struggle to understand them, because as you aren't unfamiliar with them, therefore you can't understand them sometimes and sometimes you can do it.

The part that makes it sound like "'Kay" is the rising inflection indicating it's a question. But, ironically, that's also the part that lets her figure out I'm saying "¿Que?" instead. It just is close enough that she usually has to pause for a second before she figures it out.

I understand that you are trying to tell me, but I don't believe that the word Queh sound better than Que, because in Spanish the word H is mute, therefore is the same if you says Que or Queh.

They are very useful in a chat room but they are not correct in itself structure, I mean, I don't believe correct use them.

I agree with the others that the spelling "k" would only be used when texting or in chat rooms.

I agree with you. SMS language must be reserved to the mobile messages, since we're here for learning languages, and this type of language can provoke confusion in a foreign speaker (at least, this is my case)

Are there people who uses that letter as a way to speak with other person in the cellular, I saw the text messages of other person who has sent me much messages with that kind to letter and really sometimes it's hard to understand.:confused:

People use SMS language in mobile phones because there is few space to write. But I don't like to find this language in forums, because you have enough space to write. Sometimes I don't understand it, either, although I use it when writing an SMS message. Do you know that even in exams some students use SMS language? :eek: Such language makes poor our own languages.
