When we are talking about something that happened in the distant past , in Spanish we usually say " ha llovido mucho desde entonces " to mean that that was a long time ago, and at present it might be unimportant. IS there a similar expression in English?

Pienso que sería, "in the good old days/ ages ago"

"There's been a lot of water under the bridge since then".
