¿Puedes dar un ejemplo del uso en una frase? :)

If you say that somebody no es trigo limpio you mean there is something fishy about them, you think they are not honest.

Hmm well.. Depending on how strong this feeling is.. maybe:

- ' There' s something fishy about him' :D (seems like a good one to me ;))
- There' s something not quite right about him
- There' s something off about him
- He' s a charlatan

More towards an uneasy feeling:
- He gives me the creeps (when someone gives you a nasty or uneasy feeling) or ' He creeps me out'
- He makes my skin crawl (similar to creeps)

Perhaps the native English speakers can come up with better ones though. :) ;)

Great answers. I don't think a native speaker could answer more natively!:)

hi empanada rica - that's a nice summary of terms, not much to add.

there's one comes to mind that doesn't allude to character so much as
personality: "he's an odd duck.", meaning eccentric or peculiar in his ways.

I use "rubs me wrong"
Example: There's something about him that rubs me wrong.

Or "I have a bad feeling about him".

¡¡ Sí !! :D O un tesoro humano :D

In fact, in Dutch instead of vocabulary we say 'woordenschat'. :)

Factually this is derived from the words: 'words' (woorden) & 'schat' (which comes
from the verb 'schatten', to estimate).

However 'schat' also means 'treasure' (and 'darling' too by the way..:D).
So you could think of the word as ' wordtreasure' = Caja de tesoro de palabras.. :D
