Una amiga tiene esta cita en su Facebook "status". Mi traducción está: "It is not enough to know, you should also apply. It is not sufficient to love, you should also ....... " (Goethe, German poet and playright).

I don't quite know what to do with the "hacer" part. I mean, I have a vague understanding of the word "hacer", but apparently not enough of one to actually understand it in a sentence....

Is the rest of my translation correct? What about the "hacer" part?

It is not enough to know, you should also apply. It is not enough to want, you should also do.

or

It is not enough to know, it must also be applied, It is not enough to want, it must also be done.

La cita fue originalmente escrita en alemán (nunca se ha sabido que Goethe hablara español). ;)
