"Good grief" can be said in many ways. Some examples:

¡Por Dios!
¡Cielo santo!
¡Madre mía!
¡Cielos!
¡Válgame (Dios)!
...


@Perikles: many words can be unknown in many regions or they're too archaic or too literary for the common people to know them. But that's when dictionaries are a blessing. ;)

Any of the interjections used to convey surprise, awe or whatever would be fine, but a direct translation of it, such as "My God", there isn't, as far as I know... :thinking:

@Crotalito: "Atufar" es un verbo que puedes encontrar fácilmente en el diccionario para saber lo que significa. Y como ejemplo de uso, está la frase que puso Perikles.

I knew this word, but it's not really used. We say "oler mal" (or less formal: "cantar" :D: te cantan los pies, a ver si te duchas :D )
