Este ha sido molestarme. ¿Por que usted usa "estar" en lugar de "ser" cuándo la muerte es permanente?

Ser muerto = To be killed (also be dead, like be a living dead)

Estar muerto = To be dead.

Estar is used with past participles to indicate a state of affairs consequential on an action or event.

La ventana está abierta. The window is open

I don't find the distinction permanence/temporary for ser/estar very helpful sometimes. It works a lot of the time, (you can shut the window) but does not explain está muerto, which is normally permanent.

estar is to be in the state ofWhich should be quite easy to remember because both words derive from Latin stare to place, put, stand , as do many others describing position - station, static, establish etc. :)

In fact in the phrase with a little to slang in Mexico is most common that you says to be died than Ser muerto.

It's literally used for the kind to term that is accustomed to use here in my country.
