Right, "Tied up" = "pretty busy", or just "busy", "otherwise occupied"...

Yeah.

They are plenty the same, otherwise of say busy in different ways.

I'm tie up with my new project.
I'm just buy with my new project.
I'm pretty bury with new project.
In the personal, I like more the first and third choice.

I don't know. What do you think about it?

tie up (keep busy) to be tied up: she’s tied up with a customer just now = en este momento está ocupada atendiendo a un cliente;
I’ll be even more tied up tomorrow = mañana voy a estar aún más ocupado or atareado
(Just some additional examples.) :)
