How can we translate "hacer tiempo" in this context?:rose:

well we also have pasar el tiempo, hacer tiempo means, do sth else so that the latecomers don´t miss anything. Is pass the time the equivalent in that context?

I agree with the above but I would also say that hacer tiempo (mientras se espera algo) is to while away the time, to kill time, right?
