(crown, complete) rematar, coronar; to cap it all off o (BrE) to cap it all … para colmo (de desgracias or de males) …, para rematarla … (fam)

My question here is that "coronarlo" has a 'negative' connotation in Spanish (as in 'para colmo')

Para coronarlo. Expresión de énfasis que precede a la de algo que se añade todavía a una cosa que ya resulta excesiva o es motivo de disgusto.

Would it be there another Spanish expression emphasizing the positive aspect of 'bringing something to an apex/culmination/perfection, you name it?

I thought of 'para llevarlo a su máxima expresión'.

Any other ideas?

Hey, Irmamar, great idea. (It will not work in the middle of a speech or a chapter, but it definitely works at the end.) Thank you. :)

I think it there is a phrase with faena in it, but I can't remember it:thinking:.
Anyway it wouldn't work in Latin America.

"Para terminar la faena". Gracias, Poli, me había olvidado de esa... Puede funcionar en algún contexto. :)
