No problem. "De lleno" can be used in many contexts to mean fully, completely, totally, etc.

de lleno = fully
se dedicó de lleno a su trabajo = she dedicated herself fully/entirely to her job
el sol le daba de lleno en la cara = the sun was full on his face/was shining directly on his face. :)

Yes, I agree with "to the brim" or even "brimming"... in specific contexts.
