How can we say in English This? It means to create a good atmosphere. Un buen clima.

I take the English natives will have a better say, but here is my attempt,

To create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere/environment.

To create a "good roads and good weather" atmosphere (?)

To create an atmosphere that puts pupils at their ease/ make pupils comfortable...

(Crear buen rollete, buena onda...)

About the first sentence, would you prefer atmosphere or environment? I asked that because you can say in Spanish "una atmósfera o un entorno agradable", but I think usually we prefer "atmósfera" to "entorno" (in that case). So, I'd like to know if "atmosphere" is preferred to "environment" or not.

So, I'd like to know if "atmosphere" is preferred to "environment" or not. :thinking:Yes it is. The environment is something identifiable, such as comfortable chairs and a colourful room. Atmosphere is something less tangible, more like a mood. :)

You could have a tense atmosphere, but not a tense environment.

Mmmmh...?
What about if you have 2 tectonic plaques colliding with very high tension...? (Just kidding here... :D Thank you for the data... any further comment or answer to the OP?)
