Alfonso, Thank you for starting this "friendship". I am a beginner and welcome the chance to practice the spanish I am learning. I am half puerto rican, but can't speak the language!!! I have been at it for about a year on my own. I would probably learn much more if I were taking a formal class, but it is not practical for me right now. I am open to any suggestions you may have on learning the language. Right now I am going through a couple of work books on verb tenses and pronouns. Sometimes it is very confusing, but I'm sure with practice it will become second nature.
