    Hello Tomisimo Thank you for your welcome. Yes Maltese and english are both the official languages of Malta. But being maltese of course we speak maltese but we an easily change to english quite easily. We learn with mostly english books so tht is wy we speak good english. There are quite a number of english speaking foreign people in malta - living here with us. But we are maltese and english is our second language.

    Veronica, welcome to the forums! I thought I heard that Maltese and English are both official languages of Malta. Are there native speakers of English in Malta?
