Tu ingles es mucho mejor que mi español!! And ... I LOVE mate. I bought a mate (cup) and bombilla when I was in Uruguay this summer and found some yerba mate at a store here in the Washington DC area where I live.

Argentina should be an add-on the next time I go to Uruguay!!

Hola Ookami!! I have only been learning Spanish since October. This summer I visited friends who live in Uruguay. I LOVED being there!!!!! I know that the Uruguayan and Argentinian culures are different, but probably more similar than others in South America, correct? I would love to get any feedback that you might ever have for me regarding Uruguayan/Argentinian culture, word usage, pronunciation, etc. (I would like to develop a more Uruguayan accent...).
