Hola Sr. Speedy, ¿qué tal? Me parece que no te veo aquí tan a menudo que hace unas semanas - o es que no somos aquí durante las mismas horas quiza? No estoy de vacanciones ahora, entonces normalmente estoy durmiendo en esta hora de la madruga.. pero no sé me sentí 'insomne' (si se puede decir.. ). A veces me parece que hay gente (aquí y en otros sitios) que duerme muy poco.. Chiao, ¡saludos desde Amsterdam! Laura

Hola Rusty Thanx a lo for the tips! You can really ell you have been dealing with the language intimately I agree with you this should be my goal in fact it is. I have befriended some Spanish speaking people via sites like babbel and livemocha - this seems to work well enough, the only problem is the time.It' s difficult to coordinate to both be online, and many people SAY they want to learn a language or improve but in reality it turns out to be low on their list of priorities.. I would like to meet some Spanish speaking people here as well but there are not so many, not in my job either.
So I will keep listening to podcasts, radio, tv, read forums like this and keep trying talking, writing etc. I agree wih your immersion-principle though, I think it is the only true way to learn a language if you want to truely learn it well. The verbs sometimes are daunting to me, if you have a good idea how I could practise them by myself I would welcome it.

It seems you have an excellent command of Spanish..!! Congratulations! Quite impressive for a foreign language ;-) I was just going through some of the idioms (in the Vocabulary subforum), very interesting! If you have any advice for me for my learning process, it would be very much appreciated!
