Finalmente regresé otra vez. Muchas veces consulto con el diccionario principal en busca de los significados de varias palabras. Esté is mi segunda visita aquí al foro. Me alegro en hallar el camino, no podía recorder cual apodo ni la contraseña que usé la primera vez. Ni siquera podía encontrar donde puse esta información. Generalmente lo pongo en una carpeta escondida pero me parece que quizá me lo olvidé registrarlo. ¡Qué barbaro!

Me agredezco que haya lista de los miembros, busqué hasta que encontrara mi apodo muy conocido "lagrulladelvalle". Me gusta porque parece el significado de me apellido y también parece selvático. La parte "-dell" quiere decir en ingés "vallecito arbolado"

Hi, Grulla. I wanted to also welcome you to the community.

I like your username. It first reminded me of a serene picture of nature, then I started thinking about the English word crane. We use it for both the creature and as a construction term. The Spanish word for the latter is grúa. This is very similar to grulla. According to the RAE, the term grúa is also used for the creature. This is an interesting coincidence.

Visit us often. Learning a language is a life-long process. I've found it can be a fun process here.

Hello, I've been learning Spanish most of my life, starting with two years in high school and keep on practicing it so I don't forget how to speak Spanish (though I may speak quite slowly)

The main challenge I still have is learning how to understand spoken Spanish. I may know most of the words, but I miss some of them when the Spanish is spoken rapidly. But I am slowly improving as more words become easier to hear.

Interesting I can hear numbers as they are spoken, but slow a little bit to be sure I matched some of the higher numbers to the correct sense.
