The word host and doesn't used in that phrase.

I have understood that host hospedar.

and well the word stay is esperar something.

I have a little kind in my house that he's my son.

I have changed the nappy several times.

The host is the person who receives the guest, for example the host of the party is the person who has the party.
to stay in a hotel = quedarse

La última vez que recuerdo fue hace diez años. Lo recuerdo porque estaba en un país comunista y al gobierno no le habría gustado que mis huéspedes tuvieran un juego tan capitalista.

Compré un juego de mesa hace tres meses. Compré "Taboo" porque a mis invitados para el fin de semana del Día de Acción de Gracias les gusta juegos de mesa ... y especialmente juegos con palabras.
