Well, the Erie Canal is man made, and they limit the speed that boats take on it, so there's very little current. It's nice and peaceful and there are cute little houses all along it. There are lots and lots of places you can walk along the sides of the Canal, as well as lots of places where you can sit there and have a picnic or just sit and watch the boats. They also have lots of old fashioned locks along the way. Those are quite interesting to watch. :) |
