Sorry I guess I used the wrong word. I really wanted to say "When was the last time you caught a fish?" I just didn't know how.

I see now as I'm looking through the daily words that a living fish is not pescado, it is pez. That may account for the confusion with my statement (though I still may have used the wrong word for "caught").
