Husband and Wife learning together - Page 2

We started out in Daytona Beach and then back and forth between Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Fort Myers and Lake Okeechobee. Then I think to West Palm Beach while staying in Orlando. Finally back to Daytona. I build power lines and the hurricanes were the reason I was there, doing storm restoration work. Somewhere in that time we worked in Alabama too. BTW you Floridians are awesome! Everyone was so nice to us. Constantly asking us if we needed anything, bringing us food and drink and pulling down fences so we could get our trucks to the poles. Once found a few beers on my truck hah. I dron't dink so I gave them to my buddy.

I do think about Florida a lot but I also think of hurricanes and other natural disasters.....

I guess there is no perfect place nor safe place.....alas either too hot or too warm or too cold....

Una gran parte de la costa oeste en los EEUU es perfecto. No está tan caliente o frío.

I definitely agree about there being no perfect place. I worried a lot about the hurricanes, but it is city dependent in Florida for sure. Tampa is in a little cove when it comes to hurricanes and rarely takes a direct hit. Miami and the east coast has a higher chance. But everyplace has it's thing. Earthquakes, fires, floods, tornadoes, etc...

San Diego is pretty nice weather year round =) Of course the cost of living is double here. And housing is about 4x as much. Everyone just has to pick the place that is best overall for them.
