The colloquial construction of that sentence in Mexican Spanish would use the present tense:

"Mi mamá me cuelga si se entera de que no sé gramática". ;)

¡Bueno información aquí!

También yo necesito practica con mis verbos.

Cuelo necesitar pensar para un momento antes intento adivinar como decir un verbo.

Específicamente, el pretérito es difícil para me.

Como... <<Adiviné la palabra y ellos rieron>>.

Traducción:

Great info here!
I also need practice with my verbs.
I often have to think for a moment before I try to guess how to say a verb.
Specifically, the simple past is difficult for me.
Like... "I guessed the word and they laughed"

Lucky for me I like to make people laugh! :)

Ah ha!!! I'm assuming that would mean "with pleasure"? So if someone says thank you for something could I then respond with "mi gusto"? And I'm with Jonathan. Good info here.

No, not "mi gusto". The expression is "con gusto".. "con mucho gusto".. "fue un placer"... "de nada".

All these are correct. There are some more.
:)
