Hace sentido porque todos sus vecinos son hispanos.

yo también entiendo mas o menos los brasileños cuando hablan y diría que hay mucha similaridades en las dos lenguas.
Poli, do you say; Hace sentido or Tiene sentido?

Thanks, Poli.
Yo diría `Es el inglés ...´

Let´s see what the native speakers will say.

I think you are right, but to me el inglés sounds like the Englishman

Yo diría el inglés o posiblemente mi inglés. Creo que por el contexto no van a creer que hablas de una persona inglesa.

  • Es el / mi inglés, que me traiciona / está traicionándome.
Pero no puedes omitir el artículo o el posesivo.

How would you say ` It´s the Englishman...´?

Es el inglés... You must guess the meaning by the context, as inglés can be both, Englishman and English language.

Yeah, you use "el inglés", "el holandés", etc., etc. But I forget it all the time as well :).

Ramses, Do you know to speak these languages, Holandes, Ingles, Spanish, How you do to know these languages at same time.?

I know my Spanish, but I'm learning English, and really, it's hard, I have what study so much all the days, I've that practice here in the forums, I use the forums very widely, look, today I've a test about it in the university, hope I can approve the test, please you wish me good look.

Well, Dutch and English are my mother tongues (although English didn't fully develop due to a lack of pratice, hehe). Spanish is a language I just started studying about a year ago.

How can I use them at the same time? Well, I'm so used to swtiching between Dutch and English, so Spanish isn't too much of a problem. That said, I do make mistakes when I have to switch a lot in a short amount of time. Because I have to switch so often, I'm used to it so it's not big of a problem.

Good luck with the test. All I can say: get more input. That's how I learned English, by watching cartoons and listening to my family (later on I could speak English as well, just by listening, but it all began with listening between the ages 5 and 15).

Okis, Ramses, thanks for your good luck.
