I'm trying to clarify the expression no me llames cosas feas, which is commonly used among Colombian people. Did I make any mistakes?(or, Did I make a mistake?)
You made no mistakes. I was joking with you. You told us that you have heard several Colombians saying no me llames cosas feas. My real name is David, but for a reason obvious to anyone in this forum, I have chosen to adopt a nickname. |
OK, Poli, I've been a little thick. They use feo for a lot of things. While in Spain we would say qué mal sabe... I've heard them say qué feo sabe...
|
But you should know, Poli, that Alfonso once learnt that a friend of ours was Chilean and he said "Chilean? But she's normal". Well, to be fair it was just an unfortunate sentence, he just meant she didn't have an accent. I hope.:D

Gemma, still you follow spain on, Where do you''ll go out to your travel.?
You've gotten your plane ticket, or you'll travel in car. |
I'm leaving tomorrow morning and I'm going by plane. Don't remind me... I have this fear of flying...:lengua::thumbsdown:
|
Don't worry the plane is safe, then you leave tomorrow, good fly.

Tambien oigo: Huele a mal o Huele a feo. |
¿Seguro, Poli, que oyes sabe a mal? No me parece español correcto.

Puedo estar equivocado...
Pero estoy seguro de que... Huele a feo / huele a mal... Yo diría siempre: huele mal, sabe mal. |
Sabe a feo/mal.
Apesta.
