Songs help. Some ballads, boleros in particular, have a natural cadence. If you listen to and memorize them, it will help. It's not the same as having an intelocutor, but I think it works.

Another jolly one I picked up from MSN's "Basic Spanish" talk-board was "Planchar la oreja". Mexican, as I recall - I loved that one!

Going to plan a trip to Spain again for June or July for 2-3 weeks.

Sure, going to Spain next year (possibly twice); can't decide where to go... Madrid, Malaga/Nerja, Marbella or Barcelona. The only place in this list I've not been to is Madrid. :P
