There used to be a Catalan nationalist terrorist movement. It was rather less effective than ETA.

Sorry for the delay - ¡más vale tarde que nunca! My wife's sister's husband was an official of it! He spent a great deal of time as an honoured guest of the Policía Armada and Guardia Civil in their luxurious accommodation in Via Layetana!

He still receives a handsome pension by way of recompense.
