No, please. Don't. I love it.:love: It's great to learn about the way things are said in different places.:)

Don't take that as an insult......

Suavemente, Why do you say it.? We the Mexican aren't us slang, to the contrary we are people clean in our world, only we have made the Spanish funer in our own idiom or language, please I don't know to what you want refer with the word slang in your last post, please could you explain me more about of the you have said.

Rusty August 22, 2008 04:30 PM

slang = argot/jerga

Suavemente began his/her post with a slang phrase: ¿Qué onda?

Based on our comments about the slang, s/he thought it better not to include Mexican slang in her future posts, but we assured him/her it would be alright to do so.

(My comments, by the way, were only a correction in spelling, not a critique of the phrase itself.)

::

Why do you say it.? (Don't use a period followed by a question mark.)
Why did you say that?

Idioms (modismos) and slang (jergas) make Spanish more fun (funner), as you said.

Yes Rusty, I forgot the word Did in my question, I believe that Rusty I misudernstood the word slang, I'm sorry, well, I comprehend now the sentence said for suavemente, I again I ask her a apology.

Regards.
