isn't it pavo? I looked it up in the dictionary. There were more than 1 translation, but I'm more familiar with pavo.
I never really knew that well call turkey "turkey" because English speakers thought they originated in Turkey. But I knew that there was a connection between the country and the bird ^_^
oops pavo is the Spanish word for turkey. oops oops oops
or is it? is pavo the Mexican word for turkey too???

Yes Poli the turkey on Mexico is a Pavo, and I didn't know that the name of turkey coming from the India. Yes you are right Jessica, I will have a feast in my home with the turkey from Tomisimo, he have arrived to my cooking and he already is in the oven cooking him.

Jorge, you don't know another word for Pavo?
I am sure I have heard the word oajalote used for turkey by what I thought was Mexicans.
