That happened when I was 18 or 19, now I am 55. In 79, already in this country I also had an incident with my right index, it also had the out of socket experience :D, that one I pulled my own finger! :lol::lol:
And it became straight, however, I guess the ligaments are still all scrambled, and it hurts in winter etc...
