Actually, Irmamar - if you're talking about my preference for listening to English spoken by non-native speakers, I think that it speaks well to English teachers abroad. Teaching a "generic" pronunciation is great - because it will help the new speaker use pronunciations understood in much of the English-speaking world......

It happens in the Spanish world too, even in Spain you might have problems understanding people from a particular region, etc...

There is a sort of musical quality to it.

I'd love to go to Argentina and live there for awhile, then move to Spain and once I "get it" (the language thing, I mean) then I'd move back to the U.S.

This girl can only dream.........:crossfingers::sad:

Well, thanks to the internet, you can go to youtube and search for anything concerning argentinians and most likely you'll find it! Same thing goes for Chile and any other country in the world.

I know it isn't the same thing as travelling, but... :)

And maybe, if you come to Spain, you don't want to go back to the US. :)

I don't know about tv, but I love the movie La Misma Luna. It is mostly Spanish but it has some English too. There's a movie called Bella that's also good, but it has more English than Spanish I think.
