Crotalito a technician means un informático :) (or I think so)

Also I'm Informatics.

Crotalito,

Informatics is 'the science of information'. It isn't correct to say "I'm informatics."
A person who works in your field usually says "I'm in IT (Information Technology)," "I'm an Information Technician," or "I'm a computer technician."

There are many different types of jobs.
If you describe your particular field of work (in Spanish is fine), I'll give you the exact English equivalent. I'm very familiar with all facets of IS (Information Systems) and IT (Information Technology).

Sí, Kermit era la rana. Un hermit es un ermitaño.

I'm IT support.

You work in IT Support, so you're a Support Technician. Or, you could just say that you work in support.

I'm an "analista de sistemas", although my real work is more like a "gestor de sistemas" than an "analista" (words in English, please?) Thanks. :)

CrOtALiTo June 22, 2009 01:13 AM

I'm both things.

analista de sistemas = systems analyst
gestor de sistemas = systems manager
