You're right. As a native speaker I've learnt in this forum there are "traps" that I didn't realize before, as "para" and "por", for instance. I've never seen a question in my Spanish grammar exams about "para/por", although I've seen about what we call "pronombres átonos" (I don't know in English :thinking: ), le/la, etc.

It certainly would be fun. However, you do not need to live in country, nowadays, to acquire a language. The internet will provide everything for you.

As for the part that I highlighted in red:

Our "problems" in English are almost the same.... you just asked about small/little etc...

What about For/By/At etc...? :)

We have the same problems and do not realize of them, until we begin to think of them because people trying to learn our language start to ask about them...

Sorry I didn' t read about that, meaning you learned via the internet? :) Yes the internet is an amazing tool trust me I am exploiting and using it to the max!!! :D I can now hardly imagine doing without it... ;)
However being fully submerged in a place where you are forced to hear and speak a language is a very good way to learn it I think, although on the other hand of course, you may miss the finer points because you miss the tools to ask for clarifications or similarities in English e.g. :)

The use of internet if fantastic, but that's not how I acquired English. I referred to the internet as a mean to "immerse" yourself in the language of your choice, where you have to "almost live" whatever situation, especially if you are in chat with someone.

As to my reference of the way I learned English, I have several posts that describe more or less what to do.

Briefly:

Lee y escribe una novela, de tu agrado, en español, mientras la traduces a tu idioma nativo, con la ayuda de un diccionario bilingüe. El diccionario provee la pronunciación o una guía de la fonética española. :D

Si sabes leer, escribir y hablar en tu idioma, entonces no tienes que "aprender" español, solo tienes que traducir lo que ya sabes en tu idioma al español. Y eso es otra cosa que aprender. ;)

¡Ah bueno gracias por explicarlo! Suena como una idea buena, aunque sea un poquito 'laboriosa' ? ¿O no? No sé, puede ser un trabajo/obra de uños meses? ¿O me equivoco? :D

Lo que hago en este momento (ente otros) es leer y también escuchar el audiolibro de un ebook o libro. :) De esta manera ya sé de lo que se trata un capitulo (más o menos) y puedo leerlo por una segunda vez, escuchando el audiobook. No son exactamente igual pero por 95% y de esta manera es un buen ejercicio escuchando también. :)

Creo que lo que me falta en este momento es la práctica más activa. :)

Es de meses. A lo sumo un año. Entu caso diría que un par de meses nada más, porque sabes mucho y además sabes gramática. :)

Entonces une a lo que estás haciendo el escribir lo que estás escuchando. Te aseguro que vas a dar un salto considerable hacia adelante.

Ahora si lees y escribes una novela en español, el salto ese va a ser más efectivo. Créeme. :)
