Hola crotalito,

Not sure what you mean here sorry? :)

I know you can't translate a poem into another language.. That is not what I did or attempted to do here? :)

Obviously my Spanish isn't good enough to write a good haiku anyway that's ok because like bob I am just experimenting. If Spanish natives have corrections or ideas on how something could be improved this is welcome as per always, bearing in mind that poetry does give license to exercise some 'poetic freedom'.. :D ;)

Yes, look I'm trying to telling you that if you try to translate a poem in another language, it possible that the hang of the same poem is loosen when you have finished the translation.

I hope you can understand me this time.

Sincerely yours.

Thanks, guys.
I understand what you mean, Sosia. I love babies. My youngest is 5 already, but he's still adorable.

Real haikus have five
Then seven syllables, right?
Yes, then five again.

Muchas gracias! Necesito a hablar como eso:) Es difícil para combinar las sílabas al hablar:banghead:

AngelicaDeAlquezar August 27, 2009 01:33 PM

Sólo son 5 en el caso de ese verso, por razones fonéticas... en general, son 6 al separar al-ma-a-ma-ble.

why do you represent love?
roses always die

María José August 27, 2009 05:33 PM

So you don't believe in eternal love, JChen?

Jessica August 27, 2009 05:38 PM

I do, but I'm talking about roses; why does a rose represent love when a rose always dies?
