Actually, I think that the professor will expect us to participate in some whole-group outings to watch Mundial matches at a local bar. I think none of them understands the sleep needs of an old lady like me............

As far as counting on help from Tomisimo.... I'm a bit concerned about the "honor code" that the University has. I am thinking that I will not ask ANY questions directly related to any assignments that I'm working on while I'm there. One of the statements that I have to sign says something about receiving no outside help. I don't want to post a question about some writing here, and have someone find my post and accuse me of not following the honor code........... That's why I posted this thread. I want to start practicing writing some 125 and 75 word essays on particular topics for practice because I won't get any help when it's the real thing. :eek:

You know we're not doing your homework here, but we can explain and guide through some processes. Do what your inner feelings will tell you to do; sometimes you'll feel like asking for guidance, sometimes you won't, just don't let anxiety make the decision. :)

As for the essays, we'd better start seeing some of them coming up. ;)

In that case I would also advise you to start on your essays, but if they expect 125 and 75 words essays, do 100 and 200 words ones.

Yes - I know you won't do the work for me ... I just like to err on the side of caution. And for the essays ... I've wanted to start, but my computer at work died and it took them a week to get me back in the system. I've gotten SO far behind on everything ... I am hoping to be caught up by Wednesday when my grades are due......

Just make sure that what you want to say, you write it in English first, then just put it in Spanish. Don't worry, just do, as your head has to get accustomed.

No puedo escribir en español cada vez. Algunas veces, escribo en mi teléfono, y mi teléfono usa inglés. Voy a empezar a practicar a escribir esos ensayos pronto....
