Ok, I placed before in many post my picture where I'm jeepeando with my Jeep's club, really I prefer to be unknown.

I'm sleep on it that fact I have to place a picture about me in the forums.:)

The way I look at it is that when I go outside, thousands of people I don't know can see what I look like. So I don't worry about it if people online know what I look like. Now I do try to steer clear of posting things on facebook or forums that say something like "I'm going to Florida for vacation. Come rob my house!"

Sure there are pervs out there but... They also walk around in my town and probably yours too.

It's good to take some precautions, but in excess.. There are easier ways to find good victims than searching pictures on the net. It's far more dangerous to give your telephone number to a cute girl in a disco, than giving your full name, a picture of your face an your home adress through the net. Why? That girl lives near you, she can, eventually, gain acces to your home, to your family, to your keys while been with you. (and to your heart too!) She knows your face, voice, your social level... and just in an hour, or in one night.

Also, you guys, keep in mind that there are some minors using this website. (Like one who has posted in this thread.) There are extra reasons why they should be careful about posting photos of themselves, even here...

You have convinced me, I will find once picture about me, and I will soon place my picture in this post.

You're right, result more dangerous gives a cellphone number trough of the internet or some girl in some kind of chat room that place here my picture.

I'm not sure if you really want to see my face for first time, but I believe that I'm not the sufficient ugly for the world:D

Está claro que solo es posible si todos fueramos super-hombres (Nietzsche) y no gente insegura que cualquier cosa que se dice la toman como una ofenza, porque tienen miedo de que la frágil e ilusoria percepción que tienen de si mismos sea destruída. No todo tiene que ser acuerdo, el fruto nace de la discordia, de buscar en todo recoveco posible antes de aceptar algo. En contradecir todo (adolescentes) y equivocarse y sufrir. Bueno, yo pensaba dejar la foto unos días y luego quitarla (que es lo que haré ;) ). Sobre la foto que comenta Laepelba, creo que ya sale en la página web del periódico, mucho más visitada que este foro (o eso creo :thinking: ). Lo que más me sorprendió fue que saliera el nombre de la persona. Creo que en España esto está más regulado y no habrían salido datos personales en un periódico (puede que la cara tampoco).

Recuerdo que había un escándalo con fotógrafos cuando las hijas de Zapatero vinieron a EEUU. Estoy de acuerdo que los niños tienen que estar protegido contra los malvados, pero una sobre-proctección cria un tipo de histéria que tambien es muy dañino a los niños.
