I thought it was too white or too black, so I didn't answer. There are lots of people (for example old farm people, whith no studies) who has a narrower variety of knowledge, but they use this narrow knowledge perfectly. They make no faults, or incorrect expresions. They do not use cultivate words, but their words express what they want.

I consider myself "culto", but I can use modismos, slang or whatever word I found it's the right there. I try to use the proper words in the proper moment. It's not the same talking to young people or with old people. An extreme example is Japanese.

I completely agree with you, Sosia. What you saw in the pall is what I also saw. Variety / reality is much more than two tendentious options.

When I first saw this thread and the poll options, I honestly didn´t think it was worth looking at, but then it got really interesting even with the misunderstandings and misinterpretations(that´s what they were in my opinion). And I´m impressed how at the end, between Alfonso, Poli and Crotalito, things were cleared up, more or less.
BTW, I think the administrators should check or control threads with poll options.

We don't officially close a thread. I have only seen Crotalito 'close' a thread.

Tomísimo is the sole administrator of the forums.

It doesn't really matter if threads grow very large. Doesn't bother me. If you have reason to believe a thread should be closed, your best bet will be to send me a PM.
No hay problema si un hilo sea muy largo. Si crees que uno debe ser cerrado, mejor mándame un mensaje privado para que yo lo cierre si es apropiado.

I'm sorry I was joking. A private joke for those who know what does usually happen... Of course, I think a thread should always be open. And, actually, it is. David (Tomísimo) is the sole administrator of the forums, as already has been said, and I have never seen a closed thread. I hope this will continue so.

Crotalito, please, I know I asked you to close the thread, but, as you see, this can be confusing. I think it's better if you don't close a thread anymore.

It doesn't really matter if threads grow very large. Doesn't bother me. If you have reason to believe a thread should be closed, your best bet will be to send me a PM.
