Ok, "funny" también puede ser "divertido" si se trata de una persona, pero aquí se trata de una creencia.

Yes when you arrived to a new place, for instance a new city for you, that's magnific for the person and well, I'm agree with you the old world known as Spain is wonderful.

En Reino Unido los camareros de los restaurantes "tipical spanish" solían llevar sombrero mejicano, y cuando un club de futbol quería hacer una "fiesta española" para homenajear a un jugador español, todos llevaban este tipo de sombreros.
