yeah it is complicated but if you know what the thing is, and what it looks like, and which measure word it goes to, it isn't that bad. ^_^
|
for the date, it is the year first, then the month then the day. So that means for Chinese, large >>>>> small. For English small >>>>>> large.
Take today's date for example. 2008 年 11 月 28 日 nian is year, yue is month (and also means moon), and ri is day. Day can also be 天, but that's really meaning the "sky" or 今天 (today - jin tian), 明天 (ming tian - tomorrow) and 昨天 (yesterday, zuo tian). ri would be the correct one to use in the dates Another ex.: If you want to send mail to someone in China: First you put the country, then the province, then the city or town, then the street, then the building #, then the room # (if it's an apartment), and finally the person's name. And of course, for the U.S., it's the person's name, house #, the street name, the city/town, then the state, the zip code, then finally the country, the United States. |
uffff realy complicated!

Here's more Chinese:
basketball: lan qiú 篮球 tennis: wang qiú 网球 see the 网? does it almost look like a tennis racket? ping pong: ping pang qiu 乒乓 These two characters look almost alike, except for one small difference. it is like this because you need two people to play ping pong; ong at the left, one at the right. |
sorry for the consecutive posts... :P
Dui bu qi... zhe - this na - that Zhe shi shui de shu bao? Whose backpack/book bag is this? Na shi wo de shu bao. That is my backpack/book bag. Sorry again if you don't know how to pronounce it....you will have to figure it out yourself, because I don't know how to explain... duo shao how many/much for #10 + *duo - more, many *shao - less, few ji how many/much for #1-10 if you do not know how many/much of something there are, you can use both. However, if you are asking how many students are in my school (Xue xiao li you duo shao xue sheng?) it would be best to use duo shao because there are more than 10 students in the school, of course. ji wouldn't make sense here. |
I feel that is hard learn the Chinese, but I can try to learn the language.
|
it is pretty hard...but of course you can try :) :) first master English (I know you can do that! :)) then try French (right?) and then Chinese....for that you can always ask me...it might be hard for me to explain the pronunciation though
|
I think that the hart part is the pronunciation...
but certainly is an interesting language ;) |
yes of course ^_^ and the culture is interesting too....
|
It might be hard to learn but, you must remind that nothing is impossible in this live.
