Can't follow it!! :banghead:

But it's a fine coincidence you posted this Bob... :D
This morning it took me a while to get used to her accent (no idea of where she's from... I suppose she's American though):

She sounds Southern. A flat Floridian accent maybe?

I'm only guessing but she sounds like the blonde gun expert on CSI Miami!

Steven Gerrard the England football player from Liverpool

Good luck with this Geordie (Newcastle) accent!

That's a scouse accent from Liverpool - the same as Gerrard!

Thank you, xchic. :)

Here's a Mexican famous writer, Carlos Fuentes. His accent is a neutral Mexico City one.

Is this any good?

While it's still legal;):shh:

One girl doing 4 accents. I don't know how accurate they are but, what I found funny was the Spanish accent is full of swearwords including the one which was the subject of a thread recently!!

I'm afraid the voice is so painful I was unable to listen to more than 20 seconds. How can the very simple word and be pronounced eeeeeeaaaaannnd ? :yuck: How can this possibly be a diphthong?

laepelba March 12, 2010 05:38 PM

ME ENCANTA este hilo, Bob!! Gracias!!

laepelba March 12, 2010 05:45 PM

Here's another about New York accents, the city vs. Upstate:

Right - Harsh vocal quality to begin with notwithstanding, the inflection
evident in 'eeeaand' denotes hesitation-thinking-it-over-before-continuing
anywhere in North America...maybe like puees, que siempre me encanta el acento mexicano...

I searched for a while for an accent from here, but I don't really think there is anything that distinguishes us here in Arizona from most parts of the southwestern United States. Or maybe I'm just so used to it that it sounds normal!:D
