The Imperative and Pronouns
None of my many text books and courses fully indicate the whole range of structures to employ with the imperative in the informal. The easiest way to explain the omissions is to list what I know and then let you add what is missing - does that make sense? Let's see!
CONTAR cuéntamelo; no melo cuentes - contádmelo; no melo contéis cuéntanolo; no nolocuentes - contádnolo; no nolo contéis Formal cuéntemelo; no melo cuente - cuéntenmelo; no melo cuenten cuéntenolo; no nolo cuenten Actually I pretty well worked the above out in my head, but I would be grateful if someone could carefully check it out and correct any discrepancies |
CONTAR
Imperativo Imperativo a mi favor (A Mí) + me Imperativo a su favor (A TÍ ) +se Imperativo a nuestro favor ( A NOSOTROS) + nos etc.... lo he hecho deprisa, puede haber errores :D :D |
The same form for "ellos" can be used for "ustedes", too. :)
Good table, Sosia. :) |
