Hola! I have a few fill-in blanks questions about bastante, un poco, muy and nada. I am wondering if my answers are right and if there could be more than 1 combination. If so, please point it out.

1. Pues es ____ simpática pero ____ perezosa. I put: muy, un poco. Would bastante work for the second blank? or how about: bastante, bastante.

2. Es ____ alegre y ____ perezoso. I put: muy, muy (since 'y')
3. Roberto es ____ trabajador pero ____ serio. I put: muy, un poco. just like the first one.
4. No es ____ simpática y es ____ egoista. I put: nada, nada

1. Your choices sound correct. One "bastante" would sound fine too, but two "bastante"s would need a "también" in the second part, to soften the repetition.

2. & 3. Your choices are fine.

4. Second "nada" would need another "no", and it doesn't fit the mood of the sentence, as it's describing negative traits of a person.
