Hola todos

A little girl at my friends house once took the time to read my part of a poem in her schoolbook. It left a nice impression on me, that poem. I can't seem to remember exactly the words, or find it online.
I remember it starts out something like;

"amarillo, verde, rojo y azul - colores finos y alegres..."

The poem then goes on to personify each color, like interplay with the other colors, but I can't remember the phrases. Can anyone reckognize this poem from a schoolbook in the sw U.S.? Thanks in advance.

EL JUEGO DE LOS COLORES

Violeta, verde, amarillo,
naranja, rojo, azul;
colores finos y alegres
hijos bellos de la luz.

Para jugar en la tierra
les dan permiso de día.
Corre el verde en el follaje
y descansa en las colinas.

El naranja y el violeta
gustan la paz de las quintas.
El azul brinca en los rios
y el amarillo en los trigos.

Pero el rojo es el que ríe
en los labios de los niños.

Cuando en las tardes mojadas
la lluvia rasga su tul,
abren un arco de gloria
para que pase la luz.

Luego regresan al cielo
apenas el sol no arde
y se duermen quietecitos
en las nubes de la tarde.
