°° 'dejarse llevar' is passive enough. You meant sort of "no dejo que me lleve" containing the magical "que" that tells us how to parse the phrase.

*without that "de" it looks like the very idea is going to destroy the world and not that it contains that specific notion.

'dejarse estar' means not being diligent enough and not re/acting promptly when it's necessary.

A veces "dejarse llevar" es similar a "embrace" pero de una manera en que la voluntad del individuo un poco pasiva aunque sus acciones sean definidas. "Be seduced" también puede ser.

In English the best term I can think of is to be swayed by.
