Getting to know Spanish

Hi There! I am new to your forum. I speak French and German, am visiting the Dominican Republic often, can speak a handful of Spanish and would like to make sentences rather than the School side. That's how I learned French and German. I know the basics,but it is to put it into sentences. All help is appreciated.
